    Photo Tips

    The paper the photo is printed on is the most important.  The paper should be of photograph quality.  Printing the photo on regular printer paper will not work.  There will be bleeding and the resin will seep into the paper.  There will be a noticeable line on the edge of each tile.  You can take a picture of anything with a digital or a film camera.  You can also use a picture from a good calendar.  You can also buy a picture from a store.  There will always be some waste from the picture.  The picture has to be cut to fit the squares.  Generally the waste is from either the top or bottom and the left or right.  The finished result will always be better than the original picture.  It is possible to put a border around the picture if the picture is smaller than the board.  But I would not recommend it unless the picture cannot be enlarged or you do not want to use a smaller board.
